This course covers the physics and types of aesthetic lasers when managing dermatological conditions and extrinsic aging.
The material furthers study in genetics and ethnic assessment, as well as tissue regeneration post operative ablative procedures.

The study is in-depth and prepares practitioners with confidence on various types of lasers and offers optional stacking treatments for maximum patient outcomes.

Option #1

The corresponding student assessment offers students an in-depth review ofcourse material.
Virtual Discussion The material is reviewed with students during a half day learning session through the virtual classroom.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q & A!
The half-day virtual review and discussion are offered once per month and attendance is required to receive full credit and certificate.

Option #2

This course includes the material of Option #1 and covers both aesthetic lasers and intense pulsed light when managing dermatological conditions and extrinsic aging.
The material furthers study in genetics and ethnic assessment, as well as tissue regeneration post operative ablative procedures.
The study is in-depth and prepares practitioners with confidence on various types of lasers and offers optional stacking treatments for maximum patient outcomes.

The course qualifies learners for the CMLSO Academic Internship Program offered through the Board of Laser Safety.
Medical Laser Safety Officer
This course covers the exact same material as Option #2 and prepares learners to practice as a Medical Laser Safety Officer in a healthcare facility.

The corresponding student assessment offers students an in-depth review of course material and prepares them for the role as a Medical Laser Safety Officer.
Virtual DiscussionThe material is reviewed with students during a half day learning session through the virtual classroom.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q & A!

The half-day virtual review and discussion are offered once per month and attendance is required to receive full credit and be eligible for Board Certification with the BLS.
