Since 2009, the founder of the International Academy of Cosmetic Laser Surgery has worked with malpractice attorneys in cosmetic laser and IPL litigation as a cosmetic laser expert and is currently a member of the Expert Institute NYC as well as other legal resources.  

Working with malpractice litigation, she saw the critical need for education in medical aesthetics and in laser science and safety, which was the basis of creating a scholarly based educational platform for practitioners.  Linda hopes to raise the practicing standards of laser safety by offering an approved training course by the Board of Laser Safety and pre-requisite to the BLS Medical Laser Safety Officer certification exam.  

Physicians and practice owners as well as practitioners alike, will benefit from this laser training program which discusses the legal aspects of laser practice and covers the "Standard of Care" best practices as required by law.
